Iron Creek in South Dakota. It is well worth the time to get off interstate ninety and take a leisurely drive by Iron Creek and to check out the various waterfalls and rock formations. Anytime of the year in this area of South Dakota it is beautiful.

This is beautiful. Is the water really that blue, or was it your ability as a photographer that brought it out?
I am adding you to my BlogRoll.

Gerardine,
Thank you for your kind words. Yes on that day the water was a dark blue. It was from the reflection in the sky. Usually the water is a deep black color but clear at the same time. I lucked out on that day. If you are ever in this part of the country I highly recommend getting off interstate ninety and taking the drive. If you don’t stop anywhere it is only about a twenty minute drive. But you could easily spend the whole day exploring. – Craig L. Getchius
PS. I am kind of new to blogging. As soon as I figure out what BlogRoll is I will add you to it. Again thank you for taking the time in viewing my blog.
